I certainly don't trust someone like Hillary Clinton to make good decisions around things like recommending courses of action to the Justice Department for say, enforcement of the CFAA or DMCA. Ditto for stances on incoming legislation regarding digital rights and privacy. I would feel better if she had a good group of advisors who knew about technology and would explain the implications to her, but the people who have her ear do not seem to have the best interests of the average user in mind.
