In that case Facebook asserted that it was a copyright violation when Power Ventures copied data to it's servers, parsed out the pieces they cared about (for contact aggregation), and dropping the rest. The court agreed, ruling that making even a temporary copy in computer memory was indeed a copy. This appears to be another part of that same case, this piece dealing with the promotional campaign Power Ventures ran. These two have a long history of litigation.
