There's this tricky edge between "compliant" and "correct". I could build "a box" that takes files and only lets you add new versions, but ultimately it can't enforce me removing its drives and manually editing them. In other words, the compliance level is actually pretty good, but the solutions themselves are weak and not hardened against intent (just normal operating use).
