There's alot of mixed opinions about HTC customer support on the vive subreddit currently, with people trying to get various HTC vive faults resolved. The secret seems to be that you keep contacting until you get a competent support rep. I've seen a few people suggest the US support is worse than the EU support, but I've not personally had to deal with HTC support so can't really give any personal anecdotes.
