In my early 20s. But my experience was that kids balanced "outsideness" and "insideness". Maybe one day you'd sit around on the PlayStation for six hours. The next you would bike out to the woods. I think most kids still intrinsically like the outdoors-- there is a lot of cool stuff out there.
