It's relatively easy to write a game that will run on PC, Xbox and PS4. At a high level, they're very similar platforms. The Wii U is a very odd duck. At the very least, they have to address the touch screen at least minimally. So I'm sure most developers decide the Wii U just isn't worth the effort.
