If we assume the site's self-professed label of "front-page of the internet" is correct, it shouldn't be surprising that the total of its content reflects the content of the internet as a whole. Hate to break it to you, but porn is pretty popular on the internet at large, not just on reddit. Racist people exist, and will flock to any platform where they can freely express their shitty ideas. Pardon the hyperbole, but your prejudice towards all users of reddit is like to claiming that all people who use the internet are closet porn addicts and KKK members. Generalizations don't help anyone, and they make you look just as closed-minded as the racists you dislike so much.
