Brexit could cut London house prices by more than 30%, says bank
- grawlinson 10y agoIf this happens, that's probably a good thing. Housing all over the world is quickly becoming unaffordable and rent ratio (rent ratio of income) has been slowly increasing to stupid levels. I can't afford to rent in the main city of my country, and will be looking for jobs/housing in smaller cities in order to live a less stressful (read: better) life.
- rdlecler1 10y agoYou'd think the Guardian would be celebrating the potential affordability of housing instead it's all doom and gloom. Hard to feel sorry for their-percenters taking a bit of a haircut on one of their assets when millennial a cant get good jobs or afford housing.
- mikhailfranco 10y agoThe Guardian is a scaremongering Remain-ing rag. London property is way overpriced and it's good for the housing bubble to burst - especially in Hampstead and Islington, home of the Guardian-reading champagne socialists.
- eecsninja 10y agoDidn't it already do that, by reducing the value of the pound?
