Regardless of content the fact that he didn't have backups is juts plain stupid. Deserves pretty much everything he got. Im not sorry if that sounds like im an a$$hole but people really need to assume their OWN responsibility not blame others when things go wrong. 14 years worth of information is something that should have been backed up if he didn't want to lose it, no excuses.
