I thought the idea behind "Human Resources" was that the people who work in HR are supposed to be a resource for humans, not the other way around.
- pklausler 10y agoThey had to go with "HR" because "Geheimstaatspolizei" was too hard to spell.
- dragonwriter 10y agoEr, no, it's not it's because that group manages a particular set of resources for the company, to wit, the human ones.
