It depends on if you believe the perspective that Musk doesnt care about time, money and reputation but wants to spur on the rest of the car manufacturers to compete, in some sort of altruistic, noble effort.
- pm90 10y agoI'm not denying he doesn't have that motivation, but let's not kid ourselves here: he's an entreprenuer first and the looking for every way to make his product stand out in the market. A market which will soon be flooded with electric cars produced by the major car companies as well. And they are betting big on autonomous driver technology as well [0].
