Are people willing to kill to enforce laws against petty theft or should we only make theft illegal above a certain dollar amount?
- pixl97 10y agoNo, all theft should be illegal, otherwise that will just allow someone to abuse the system by stealing small amounts multiple times. And no one is killing to enforce laws against petty theft, no one is killing to enforce laws against almost any infraction. The use of deadly force comes in effect when you have a portion of the population willing to use violence against cops, which makes cops very nervous that they will 'get the winning lottery ticket' next stop and overusing force back.
