Aren't the armed police around there because of all the embassies, Kensington Palace etc?
- evgen 10y agoThere are embassies in the area, but Kensington Palace is nowhere near the South Kensington station. The borough of Kensington & Chelsea is a somewhat elongated rectangle with the palace on the northern end at Hyde Park and the south end at the Thames.
