This article's a boat load of bullshit. He says that, easily available weapons is the cause of the widespread violence in the US. But that's bullocks because bad guys would always find ways to get guns. It's the innocent who'd suffer needlessly without having guns to protect themselves. I've got friends who got jacked with knives, cutlasses. Even one who had to pretend to be asleep while a knived guy robbed his place. The author should go to countries where police arrive 5 hours after a robbery has occurred and even longer if the robbers had very sophisticated guns. And when they arrive, who'd they arrest? Random street urchins. Recent pictures from Facebook showed tens of people dead in Lagos, Nigeria. In most of the pictures, I saw a cutlass a few feet from the dead bodies. I wondered if it was the bad guys that died. Only later did it hit me. The dead were people who tried to protect their lives with cutlasses against men armed with guns. Where were the protectors?...
