The current market share of Jazz in America is mere 3 percent. That doesn't mean most people don't like Jazz. It just means they don't tend to seek it out ahead of other alternatives. Jazz isn't associated with pop culture which is to say sex, relationships, and high school / college kids. But most people, should they find themselves in a space with a good jazz band playing, would enjoy it.
