I know that :-) I still had to maintain and test our main application for some corporate users running IE 8 until a few months ago. And I can still see some IE 8 (less than 0,5 %) visiting our main public website. But it doesn't explain where does this figure come from. The percentage seems really high, compared to stats I've seen elsewhere.
