      It can be, it all depends on whether you can find people who want to pay you money to do work on your terms. If you can and that's trivial to do for you, then that's really it and your company will succeed. If you can't, it's not going to work out well. There's also a middle route where it kinda works but doesn't really. And some other options for people who want to get really ambitious and start agencies.

        Paying you to work on your own terms sounds like freelancing, and nothing more. Starting your own product company is a lot harder than that.
