I'm confused. What do you do in Japan if you're too sick to work? Go to work anyway and vomit in the trash can?

  You call in sick and take a day off. Problem is, there's no such thing as a paid "sick day". You have to use up one of your regular vacation days. On the other hand, if someone's got a bad case of cold but still can work, they will come to work.
