The problem with Godwin's law is if you cast something minuscule as being on par with what occurred in Nazi Germany, you're undermining the actual horrors committed by humanity during that time. If you consider everyone that's taken a piss outside of a bathroom or the 17 year old who Snapchat's her boyfriend of the same age as sex offenders, you put them in the same camp as someone who has committed real horrific crimes with actual victims.
