I thought people voted for Brexit because they wanted more autonomy and didn't like the free flow of immigrants, but I guess saying people were "scared shitless" does indeed make more sense.

- audunw 10y agoWell, the point is that Brexit does not guarentee that either of those things will be fixed. "Scared shitless" might be hyperbole. But it's certainly very fair to say that Brexit was sold on false premises. A lot of the arguments from the Brexit campaign were straight out massive lies.
