I've thought for a long time that internet connectivity was the worst thing to happen to console gaming. I liked consoles because games worked out of the box, without dicking around with accounts, services, etc.
If i want to deal with that, I'll just play on my PC
- RGamma 10y agoInternet is the ultimate DRM. An interface to exchange arbitrary information with effectively secret infrastructure? "Perfect, let's just stream monitor contents like OnLive, they'll never guess the game's code from this to run on their own computers." It seems one of the major reasons that stopped OnLive were the latencies, let's hope it stays that way if you care about gaming culture.
