Pilots are trained professionals in the field where autopilot is relevant, consumers are not.
- manicdee 10y agoand even though they are highly trained they still keep their attention on the plane's operation. And pilots still make mistakes when adjusting to a context where the autopilot has unexpectedly handed control back to the humans.
