GMO are probably perfectly healthy. They're probably not much worse than "hybrid" seeds. The problem is handing control of feeding the world to large multinational corporations. It's been proved again and again that it's perfectly possible to feed the world organically. The "Green Revolution" was essentially a sham, pushing one energy, resource and chemical intensive way of growing food as the only one possible. It's perfectly possible to produce as much with much less standardization.
