- sixothree 10y agoI remember a case where police placed or retrieved something from a car in the driveway without a warrant. The reasoning was that your driveway is not private property.
- whamlastxmas 10y agoYou might be remembering the FBI placing GPS tracking on cars in drive ways, which was considered fair game and not requiring a warrant.

- delecti 10y agoIt has been ruled that they can observe from the connected street, but without a warrant, your property is your property, at least until this ruling.
