The article presents the blocksize debate as Americans vs. Chinese. I see it more as an effort by payments companies (some of which are US-based) to capture the bitcoin protocol.
- aminok 10y agoOh yea we wouldn't want those parties who benefit from growing Bitcoin usage to influence Bitcoin protocol decisions, because then Bitcoin might see mass adoption and that would be a terrible fate because ???
