Write a lot of it, and keep a critical eye. Try to find the issues that tend to come back to bite you and avoid them in the future. Dealing with the consequences of bad code is a very good teacher :D EDIT: Also take notice when other people's code cause you trouble, what can you do to save trouble to a future colleague?
