Adam Smith at least wrote "Wealth of Nations" after writing "Theory of Moral Sentiments" to drill down into the morality of money. His point in it is that capitalism is a moral improvement on Mercantilism.
- carapace 10y agoYeah I think I failed to communicate my point. In the Bhagavad Gita (chapter 2 verse 49) there's a statement to the effect that those who work for the fruits of their effort are misers.
