(I usually keep it disabled, but enable it when I'm about to use a site that has paste disabled on any fields.)
- fakemeatsubs 10y agoAwesome, is there a similar one for selecting text and copying?
- nothrowaway 10y agoVery possibly, but I don't know of one to recommend, sorry. (Temporarily disabling JavaScript is sometimes an option.)

As the world moves to the browser as the OS (essentially) it's imperative that the browser respect end user wishes and behave as a sentry against malicious websites and malicious website behavior.
- delecti 10y agoMost of the time websites disable paste by registering "onPaste" events. How do you allow websites to keep doing that when necessary, but not allow the websites that break the paste?
- ketralnis 10y ago> when necessary When would I ever want a website to know the difference between me pasting and me typing some text?
- okletsgoyayok 10y agoKudos +3 Edit: Does anyone else feel... increasingly... trapped?
