This is a marketing stunt.
- ljk 10y agowhat made you say that?
- x3n0ph3n3 10y agoThe guy mentions the security company he works for in the video.
- BucketSort 10y agoPlus he posted on linked-in which gives people a nice easy way to connect with him/his business professionally.
- patcheudor 10y agoWhatever it was, it was highly irresponsible to not immediately call the authorities and not, in the video instruct people to immediately call the authorities if they find a skimmer. Tampering with evidence of a crime is a crime in most places.
- joslin01 10y agoI'm just curious -- do you have anything nice to say? While I applaud your valor, I am grateful I clicked on this because I've only heard ATM scanner used in passing conversation -- had no idea they could be outfitted like this. Your parent comment & this comment make it seem like you got a chip on your shoulder.
- ryanlol 10y ago> Tampering with evidence of a crime is a crime in most places This would absolutely not qualify as evidence tampering in most jurisdictions.
- intrasight 10y agoI also assume it to be a marketing stunt
