I understand the presence of +/- 0 for computers, but not so much for people. IMO the "common sense" definition is adequate to explain my "neither" position: positive is above zero, negative is below.
- ColinWright 10y agoApparently in France, zero is taken to be both, which makes the technically correct translation of the French "positif" into the English "non-negative" interesting, to say the least.
