Odd, how in some close elections if the result is aligned what the media and the establishment want, "the people have spoken" and grandiose words are spoken about the power of democracy. And yet when the election is close but the result runs counter to what those in power want....suddenly we have hand-wringing over misleading campaigns, "uninformed voters", the perils of democracy, etc. etc. Like clockwork.
