  That's not the point. I completely agree with you. The point is that the HN article title is wrong and deceptive, and most HN posters have been misled into thinking the count has finished. Am I the only person on HN who bothered to read the actual article and cares about the facts? It's a bit ironic, don't you think, considering the politics and lack of facts behind this vote?

    > The point is that the HN article title is wrong and deceptive Hardly. Britain has voted. The result of the vote is that Britain will leave the EU. The fact that the votes haven't been counted to 100% doesn't make that fact any less the case. Statistics work.

            No, it's because they are fine with it. You'd be surprised at how much day to day stuff you consider an "fact" is actually "statistically correct" rather than an absolute.

        When you read a sector from your hard drive and expect to get back what you wrote, you're citing a statistical prediction as fact.
