That's fucking ridiculous. Putting a soft-lock on hardware I already own is ridiculous and then charging me $9000 for something that costs Tesla nothing extra is fucking absurd. I'm really shocked more people aren't fucking pissed about this bullshit. This is the first thing I've heard coming out of Tesla's court that really put a bad taste in my mouth.
