Does anyone else think its time to move away from Bluetooth and start over with a new wireless protocol? No network or serial or other protocols, just good full

Does anyone else think its time to move away from Bluetooth and start over with a new wireless protocol? No network or serial or other protocols, just good full duplex high quality audio (with encryption and authentication). It just seams that we are having too many issues with the Bluetooth protocol and everything around it. Maybe a fresh start would be good?
