The problem is enforcing the law. I'm pretty sure there are enough laws against subletting in N.Y already, they are just hard to enforce.

- mason55 10y agoThe new law is against advertising the apartment. So NYC can go after people just for putting the apartment online instead of having to rely on AirBnB taking it down.
