Except that the West didn't care when Saddam Hussein gassed the Kurds. Only when he invaded Kuwait did the buck stop. Then again, Kuwait had oil. The Kurds hadn't. Also the trial against Hussein is widely regarded as a show trial.

It is a little arbitrary who gets justice and how much. I wish things were better, but I take what I can get.
