I call troll. There are plenty vacancies in Europe, east or west. In my previous company alone we could have used twice the number of developers we had.

  Then why didn't you hire them? Is it a case of "we needed more but never advertised that we were looking" or "we want to hire Linus Torvalds and John Carmack for 10k"?

    >Then why didn't you hire them? Delivery manager was unwilling to hire people without proven 'consultant' mindset. Joke's on them, people are leaving the company en-masse, even if won tenders are sitting in their pockets. Without a dedicated workforce, they cannot even start on those projects, and what they have are already locked up with their running clients. Also, they don't pay well, but they are under the impression that they do.
