    Arguably this taught (reminded) us that DAOs are mutable at the whim of the community majority.

  A side project DAO no-one cares about? Perhaps it's better to view this in non-binary (success/failure) terms. TheDAO has after all, captured a significant amount of momentum, interest and capital.
