The light-sport license is relatively easy to get, compared to everything else.
You only need to log 20 hours of flight time, and you can use a drivers license in place of an FAA medical exam.
- throwaway_xx9 10y agoActually, it's 20 hours of instruction time, not "flight time." And that's enough to get the licence, but unless you come from a flying family, that will probably get you killed. Factoid: According to a flight school owner I know, it takes on average 65 landings to master them in a C152 or C172.
