How many watts can you reasonably generate with 3 hp?

- geon 10y agoI was going to nitpick about efficiency of the generator not being 100 %, but apparently a generator can be 99 % effective.
- ChuckMcM 10y agoYeah, if you start from the break HP of the motor, pretty much all the work can be converted into electricity. If you start from the energy in the fuel, and go all the way to the generator, its like 50%.
