"If you're tired of London, you're tired of life" is the usual response to that. Preferences differ. I'd hate to live in London for the long term (I'm probably tired of life) but I have friends who live there, love it, and wouldn't leave unless they absolutely had to. The rent is just something you have to put up with.
- pmlnr 10y agoThat quote is from the 18th century. Things change. If you're tired of London that is because it's overcrowded, it takes forever to commute, it's noisy, it's expensive and it's required of your to get at least tipsy every Friday.
