YouTube video tutorials on niche tech topics.
Upfront investments: $50 for a decent microphone.
Spent about 40 hours creating and editing the videos. They have been online now for nearly 11 months and i have a total of ~300k views. That made me nearly $400 from video ads.
- JustSomeNobody 10y agoI don't know anything about YouTube ads, but I figured it would be more $ for that many views. (Not trying to be insulting, so I hope I don't come off that way.)
- Namrog84 10y agoBetween $1-$4 per 1k view is quite typical. I think certain demographics will influence it (depending upon how much they click links and I'd imagine tech people are less inclined to click on links and more likely to adblock)
