Whatever the proposed change is I do hope the following happens: - It is industry standard - I can use an adapter to put my exiting headphones into it and still use those headphones on legacy devices - I can use headphones and charge my device at the same time (i.e. not sharing the same port) - It is sturdy. The Micro USB is too flimsy for me to use for headphones and stuff in my pocket in it's current form.
