Just from watching the trailer I got the impression of this being another 'Dungeons and Dragons' disappointment (if you haven't watched that movie, you totally should. It's beyond of being horrible).
It's a pity if you have watched the CGI animations in Blizzard games. I think that was what most of the people were waiting but they decided to use real humans (which small bodies don't match at all with the overbuild bodies in CGI) with a terrible acting instead.
- HannibalLecter 10y agoFor years Blizzard has let their success go to their head. They no longer report their subscription count due to the massive hemorrhaging of players to better games. One only needs to look at Game of Thrones to enjoy a good story. Warcraft entirely missed the mark in that regard, and the CGI scaling issues could easily be forgiven if the company would listen to anyone at all. But they still have their heads locked firmly in their asses, so we can expect a couple more films and some tweaks to their process but nothing more. Short of bombing at the boxoffice, wow will plod along ruining a genre.
