I'm curious about this so I'll have to read the forums. However I'd just like to say my experience with RSC has been nothing but pleasant. Throw in the fact that it's cheaper than slicehost and I feel even better.
- barkingcat 17y agoSlicehost and Rackspace are the same company, by the way. They share datacenters, and a lot of the support infrastructure.
- yesimahuman 17y agoI know, I was only comparing the two services in terms of pricing. Slicehost is too expensive for a lot of needs (backend databases, load balanced app servers, etc) since these servers only ever communicate over the LAN thus not consuming billable bandwidth.
