- catnaroek 10y agoIn Emacs, this can be done using "C-\ TeX", which enables an input mode that turns ^1 (resp. _1) into a superscript (resp. subscript) 1, and similarly for other digits. (Hacker News' UI is simple enough to be usable in Emacs.) No idea about other environments.
- colejohnson66 10y agoUnicode superscript numbers
- mirimir 10y agoAlso see http://text-symbols.com/upside-down/ http://text-symbols.com/upside-down/ :) One of many implementations: http://www.upsidedowntext.com/ http://www.upsidedowntext.com/
- PeCaN 10y agoOf course not, go for it. On Windows I use https://github.com/SamHocevar/wincompose https://github.com/SamHocevar/wincompose to type that and a bunch of other useful characters. On FreeBSD and Linux, .XCompose.
