There is no point of calling them MOOC , if they are not 'O'pen anymore.
- haakon 10y agoAnd since it's not 'O'pen, it's most likely much less 'M'assive. Now it's more like a traditional distance learning offering. Nothing wrong with being that, but I wish we could also have MOOCs.
- mohsinr 10y agoGreat point! So MOOCs have become now OCs (Online Courses), Massive & Open stays honor badge of Open Source Software :) Educators tried to use "OPEN" word from OPEN Source World, but could not keep it that way... Coursera and Udacity guys should stop using OPEN word please...
