I think this is part of the new changes as well. I was dealing with a rejection a few days ago because of the new IPv6-only restriction and someone from App Store Review actually called me and we discussed and resolved the issue over the phone. After only ever communicating with them via contact forms and automated responses, I was in disbelief. Speaking to a real person from App Store Review was so absurd in my mind that it may as well have been God calling to discuss my prayers.
