As a MINI owner, you can bump me up a few slots thanks to BMW.
- sp332 10y agoI don't know how the Mini brand is near the bottom of the list but the Mini Cooper model is tied for 19th most expensive.
- chadgeidel 10y agoYeah, I was surprised about that as well. Minis (post BMW acquisition) are always in the "fun to drive/expensive to maintain" as described by car mags. It was my understanding (when I purchased my 2012) that all maintenance was included in the purchase price (through 36k miles). I purchased the "extended maintenance plan" (increasing all scheduled maintenance from 36k to 60k) on my 2012 for $2500 and have only paid an additional couple hundred in maintenance since then. I'm not counting tires - which I have spent quite a bundle on due to having both summer and winter tires and wheels for my vehicle.
