I dont even get why UK wants out. UK is not part of Shengen and has its own currency. There is no reason for exiting, UK already has what it wants.

- ddebernardy 10y agoThey'd like to pass their own (e.g.) consumer protection laws and negotiate their own trade deals. Which is cool and all... until they'll realize that, to trade with the EU were Brexit to come, they'll still need to comply with EU regulations. Only then, they'll no longer be voting on them (at all).
